SynBioBeta Aims to Fuel Your Passion for Engineering Biology at their 5th Annual San Francisco Conference

The aim of SynBioBeta SF 2016 is to “Fuel Your Passion for Engineering Biology” by fostering the participation and dialogue between entrepreneurs, business executives, tech practitioners, technology scouts, investors, and other great minds driving the latest commercial developments in the synthetic biology industry.

The opening keynote to kick off this year’s conference will be Dr. Chris Voigt, Professor of Biological Engineering at MIT, Co-Director of the Synthetic Biology Center, and Co-founder of the MIT-Broad Foundry. Dr. Voigt’s research at MIT is at the forefront of developing new experimental and theoretical methods to push the scale of genetic engineering, with the ultimate objective of genome design.
