Help create the next generation of scientists

Mon, 02/02/2015 - 14:06

As an employer in the science sector, you’ll know how important it is to have a strong pipeline of talent for your organisation and for the benefit of the sector as a whole.

The new Industry Degree Scheme incorporates existing degree programmes from a network of universities with a tradition of supporting the industrial sciences sector within a programme that is undertaken in the workplace of a sponsor company.

Join your peers on February 26th for a complementary breakfast discussion led by graduate employment expert Charles Pickford in association with Cogent Placements to learn more about how the Industry Degree Scheme works and:

·                Enables potential employers to develop a relationship with potential employees and to shape the development of their skills

·                Works through a minimum of two paid summer placements at the end of the first and second years at university

·                Enhances the knowledge and skills of new graduates through relevant industrial and practical experiences

·                Mitigates some of the risks of recruitment and retention of graduates within the sector
