Dr. Treynor will lead the team of engineers and scientists helping customers utilize Riffyn SaaS to achieve unprecedented transparency, collaboration and performance in their R&D activities. He will also translate customer experiences into development priorities for Riffyn’s continuously improving platform.

Dr. Treynor was previously the Director of Test Operations at Zymergen, where he led strain screening and fermentation process operations. Dr. Treynor also served as the Principal Quality Engineer at Amyris, where he transformed the predictability with which strains and processes designed, developed and scaled from the lab to the plant. Earlier, Dr. Treynor served on the chemical and biological sensing team at General Electric's Global Research Center.

Dr. Treynor holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemistry from Yale, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Stanford, and has developed and taught multivariate statistical methods curricula globally.
